Between the 2nd and 8th of Nov., the RCMP detachment in Carlyle received at total of 52 calls. Cases involving mental health issues, child welfare or other undisclosed matters will not be reported.

Nov. 2: The RCMP received a complaint of an impaired driver on Highway 9 north of Carlyle. Members located the vehicle and the driver was sober; however, the passenger was wanted by police for outstanding charges and was taken into custody. The individual was released to attend court.

Members received a complaint of harassing phone calls in Redvers. No charges were laid and the case was closed. The male subject of the complaint is facing unrelated charges.

Members assisted with traffic control on Highway 13 near Kisbey. A semi-truck was being winched from a ditch and members secured the area for emergency crews.

Members responded to a vehicle rollover on Highway 8 south of Kisbey. The vehicle had slid off the road and no injuries were reported.

Members received a call about an inadequately dressed individual on Highway 9, north of Carlyle. The caller was unsure if the individual, who was on an all-terrain vehicle, had been in an accident or not. When members arrived at the scene, bystanders informed police that the individual had been "picked up" and was safe.

Members received a report of a vehicle in a slough off Highway 48 near Wawota. Members and the Wawota Fire Department attended the scene and confirmed that the vehicle was empty. RCMP located the driver who was charged with failing to report an accident.

Nov. 3: A vehicle parked in front of a Carlyle business was damaged overnight. It appeared that another vehicle caused the damaged and the matter is still under investigation.

Members received a complaint of an oil tanker truck forcing the caller off Highway 8 near Redvers. The complainant requested that more patrols be made in the area.

Members received a report of a single vehicle collision near Wawota. The car was damaged when it swerved into a ditch due to poor driving conditions. The vehicle was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

Members received a complaint of damages to a business in Redvers. The incident, which involved an unknown male suspect, is still under investigation.

Nov. 4: The RCMP charged a 24-year-old male with possession of alcohol in a vehicle in Redvers.

Members arrested a 22 year-old-male for impaired driving in Redvers. The suspect was charged with having over 0.08 blood alcohol content and possession of alcohol in a vehicle.

Members received a report of an erratic driver near Wawota. RCMP made patrols in the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Members received a call of theft relating to the sale of a motorcycle in Redvers. RCMP are still investigating the matter.

Nov. 5: The RCMP were notified of a break-and-enter at the Carlyle Co-op. Significant damage was done to the store's surveillance and communication systems and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. The RCMPs Forensic Identification Services are assisting with the investigation.

Members received a report of a break-in at the Wawota Garage. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the business and the RCMP is unaware of any links to the previous break-in at the Carlyle Co-op. The incident is still under investigation.

Members received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The complainant knew the suspect and the vehicle was recovered in Regina. RCMP are examining the case to see if any charges can be laid.

Members received a report of a vehicle rollover north of Carlyle. Fog and slippery road conditions were factors. No injuries were reported.

Members received a 9-11 misdial from a residence in Arcola.

Members received a complaint of fraud from the Carlyle area. According to the complainant, money had been obtained through falsified documents. RCMP are still investigating the incident.

The RCMP received a complaint of threats from the Carlyle area. No additional information was provided.

Nov. 6: RCMP were called to 6th Street West in Carlyle where two subjects appeared to be highly intoxicated. When members arrived at the scene they found the two suspects lying in the middle of the street. A 49-year-old female and 45-year-old male were taken into custody and held until sober. The two were later released on alcohol related charges. The male subject had an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction and was released on court compelling documents.

Members attended a false alarm at a business in Carlyle.

Members received a report of an attempted break-and-enter at a residence in Carlyle. At around 6:00 p.m., someone tried to forcibly enter the complainant's home. RCMP patrolled and canvassed the area and are currently following up on leads to identify a suspect.

Members received a disturbance complaint from a residence in Redvers. According to the complainant, an alcohol fuelled conflict was taking place at the home. When members attended the home, the situation was diffused and no further police actions were required.

Nov. 7: The RCMP received a complaint of fraudulent activity that led to a bank account being frozen. Members believe that the suspect knew the complainant and that the incident was isolated. Members are still investigated the complaint.

Members received a report of a break-and-enter at a business in Carlyle. A small amount of cash was stolen during the overnight theft and RCMP are still investigating the incident. Members do not have any evidence linking this incident to the previous Carlyle Co-op theft.

At around 10:00 a.m., members received a call of a drunk driver north of Carlyle. Members located and arrested the 20-year-old male driver who is now facing charges of impaired driving and having a blood alcohol content over 0.08.

At around 2:00 p.m., members responded to a call of a drunk driver on Highway 9, north of Carlyle. Members located the vehicle, which was parked at the time. A group of people were at the scene and members were unable to determine who the driver was. Two males, a 20 and 18-year-old, were arrested and are now facing alcohol related charges.

Members received a call of an assault in Carlyle. Members attended the scene and arrested a highly intoxicated suspect who was held until sober. An investigation into the alleged assault is ongoing.

Members received a complaint of a male causing a disturbance at a bar in Antler. The subject of the complaint fled before members attended the scene; however, members were able to identify the suspect and charges are pending.

Nov 8: Members received a complaint of a drunk driver north of Carlyle. Members patrolled the area and spoke with possible witnesses but were unable to locate the subject of the complaint. The incident is still under investigation and charges may be laid based on witness testimonies.

Members received a report of a one vehicle collision south of Kisbey. Two of the vehicle's occupants were sent to hospital and released with minor injuries. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Members received a call of an impaired driver leaving Kenosee Village. Witnesses provided a description of the male driver and the truck. The complaint is still under investigation.
