911 calls
Three 911 calls were received. Two calls from Wawota were static lines and one from Manor was accidentally dialled.
Abandoned vehicles
Members responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the Carlyle area. Nothing suspicious was found and no vehicle matching its description was reported stolen.
The matter of an abandoned vehicle in Wawota is still under investigation.
An abandoned vehicle at a Carlyle business was reported. The owner has been contacted and told to remove their vehicle.
False alarms
An alarm at a business in Redvers was determined to be false.
Members responded to a false alarm at a residence in Carlyle.
Assistance
Members assisted an individual in the Arcola area, regarding a legal contract. The individual was advised by members to speak with their lawyer.
Members assisted in Arcola regarding a mental health issue.
In Manor, members responded to a complaint originating in Calgary regarding child custody issues. Members referred the parties involved to their lawyers.
Members were called to assist in finding an individual who was breaking their release conditions. The individual was found in Regina, where the issue was resolved.
In the Kisbey area, members responded to a call regarding a mental health issue. Members convinced the individual in question to go to the hospital with their family.
In the Carlyle area, members responded to a request for assistance regarding an individual with possible mental health concerns.
Members received a request to locate an individual from the Carlyle area. The individual was later located on their way to Winnipeg by family.
Members responded to a call in the Carlyle area in which the complainant reported seeing someone carrying a rifle with a scope. Members attended and found the person in question was a youth with a pellet gun.
Breach of the peace
A breach of the peace was reported in the Carlyle area. As a result, an intoxicated individual was held in cells overnight.
In Carlyle, members responded to a complaint of disturbing the peace. An intoxicated individual was in an argument, and as a result, a 41-year-old male was charged with being intoxicated in a public place, which carries a $200 fine.
A disturbance in Carlyle near a business resulted in an 18 year-old male spending the night in jail.
While responding to a report of a possible domestic dispute in the Carlyle area, members found a verbal argument and determined that no charges be laid. However, the female in question refused to identify herself, but was released without charge shortly thereafter.
Traffic infractions and complaints
Members responded to a hit-and-run accident in Carlyle. A grey Dodge Ram 1500 was damaged.
In another hit-and-run in Carlyle, a white Cruiser cabin trailer was damaged.
RCMP members, as well as Carlyle Fire and local ambulance, responded to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Highways 9 and 13, near Carlyle. The accident is still under investigation.
A 26-year-old female was charged with speeding on Highway 13 near Carlyle. She was fined $131.
After reporting an erratic driver on Highway 9, south of Carlyle, the complainant decided not to pursue any charges.
A report of an erratic driver in Arcola resulted in a 25-year-old male being charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a licence, and stunting. He was fined $880.
A report of an unsafe driver on Highway 13, near Kisbey, resulted in a 31-year-old male being charged with failing to keep to the right while being overtaken. He was fined $150.
The report of a traffic collision near Wawota, on Highway 48, between two vehicles both with Saskatchewan licence plates, was determined to be a non-reportable accident.
Another accident near Wawota involving an SUV is still under investigation.
Near Arcola, members responded to a report of an erratic driver.
In a separate incident on Highway 13, near Carlyle, a report of an erratic driver is still under investigation.
A motor vehicle accident in Alida was the result of a collision between and a calf.
Members responded to a report from Manor, regarding several individuals not wearing helmets on quads, bikes and dirt bikes. While attending to this matter, members provided warnings regarding age and helmet requirements.
Alcohol-related calls
Members responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver in Carlyle. The vehicle was eventually located and members found that there was no evidence to support the complaint.
Two other separate reports of possibly impaired drivers in the Carlyle area resulted in [respectively] members being unable to locate the vehicle in question, and in the second case, the person in question.
The reporting of a possibly impaired driver in Carlyle resulted in charges against a 25-year-old male. The charges are: driving with a blood alcohol level of over 0.08 and impaired operation of a motor vehicle. In a separate incident, an 18-year-old male in Carlyle was charged with driving with a blood alcohol level of over 0.08 and the impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Responding to the report of a possibly impaired driver in the Carlyle area resulted in members charging a 28-year-old female with driving without a valid licence and obstructing a peace officer.
In the Carlyle area, members responded to a report of an intoxicated resident causing problems at a residence. When members arrived, the individual was gone.
Theft
A report of the theft of a flatbed trailer in Carlyle resulted in the owner finding it. The trailer appeared to be moved from the location where they last thought it was parked.
A yellow CAT skid steer was reported stolen from a construction site in the Stoughton area. This matter is still under investigation.
A yellow CAT skid steer, Model 297 with a 72-inch Brushcat bush mower on it, was also reported missing from Highway 13, near Arcola. This matter is also still under investigation.
Gasoline was taken from a well site near Forget. This matter is still under investigation.
In Wawota, members responded to a report of a stolen vehicle, a green Ford pickup truck. The vehicle was returned, but was damaged. This matter is still under investigation.
A report of the theft of a motor vehicle in Redvers resulted in the vehicle being found damaged in Redvers. This matter is still under investigation.
Other calls to service
One individual was fingerprinted for a criminal record check at the Carlyle detachment.
Members attended to a report of internet fraud in Arcola.
Members responded to a report of mischief in the Wawota area, where a vehicle was damaged, its door possibly kicked. This matter is still under investigation.
In Redvers, members attended to a report of a suspicious vehicle and driver. Neither was located, and no licence number was provided.
An assault reported in the Carlyle area is still under investigation.
