Weekly RCMP report

Between the week of Dec. 13 to Dec 20 the Carlyle RCMP detachment received 47 calls. Assault Within the local area there were six reported cases of assault. A 37-year-old female has been charge along with a 21-year-male in a separate incident.

Between the week of Dec. 13 to Dec 20 the Carlyle RCMP detachment received 47 calls.

Assault

Within the local area there were six reported cases of assault. A 37-year-old female has been charge along with a 21-year-male in a separate incident.

While in one case the complainant refused to lay any charges. All other cases are under investigation.

Assistance to the public

Assistance to given to woman at Moose Mountain Provincial Park. She locked herself out of her house, a lock smith however was called and she was assisted.

Assistance was requested in Carlyle regarding a potential shop lifter.

In Carlyle assistance was given to an individual at residence regarding a welfare act. The matter was turned over to social services.

False Alarm

The alarm at a business in Carlyle was set off by strong winds.

In Redvers there was a false alarm at a residence which was cause by a battery problem.

There was a report of a breach of the peace In the local area, there was an argument at a residence.

There were reports of an impaired driver at Wawota, checks were made but the vehicle was not located. In the local area there were reports of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle located but the driver was not present.

Intoxication

A $250 liquor ticket was issued in Arcola, after a 23 year old male was found consuming alcohol in a public place. Another $250 liquor ticket was issued in Arcola.Mischief

In Redvers there was a report of mischief. The matter is still under investigation.

In Carlyle there was a report mischief where a vehicle was damages. The matter is still under investigation.

There was a report of mischief in Pheasant Rump however the complainant declined to pursue any charges.

In Manor there was a report of mischief in Manor which involved a vehicle being driven on someone's lawn. The matter is currently under investigation.

Traffic Collisions

In Carlyle there were reports of a traffic collision. The case is still under investigation.

In Antler a single vehicle collision occurred when the driver of a vehicle lost control and went into a ditch. The case is still under investigation.

There was a single vehicle collision near Parkman. EMS attended.There was also a single vehicle collision in the local area. The vehicle went into a ditch near the ice. There were no injuries.

A two vehicle collision occurred in Arcola after one vehicle slow down to let a deer cross and got rear ended.

There were no injuries.In Carlyle a single vehicle collision occurred when a driver slammed into a tree due to icy roads and speeding.

In Forget a vehicle collision occurred when a semi was a side swiped by another semi. The matter is currently under investigation.

Other Complaints

In Redvers there were complaints of noise by law. A warning was issued at the location.

There was a driving complaint on Moose Mountain Provincial Park. The vehicle also had no taillights. The driver was unaware of the issue and was told to get it fixed.

There were reports of a possible impaired driver. Checks were made but the vehicle was not located.

In Arcola there was a complaint of a vehicle carrying an unsecured load. Checks were made but the vehicle was not located.

A vehicle check was done in the local area and a 21-year-old-male was charged with having no driver's license or vehicle registration.

A vehicle inspection ticket issued after a truck was found to have white lights above its cab.

In the local area there was a report of a sexual assault. The matter is currently under investigation.

There reports of a suspicious person in Carlyle, checks were made but the individual was not found.

There were reports of a suspicious person in the local area. When the location was visited, the individual already left.

In the local area a 21-year-old male failed to comply with a probation order and was charged as a result.
