False 911 calls

Two separate incidents of a static line occurred at the same residence days apart as the owners of the residence were having issues with the phone line.

A nine-year-old was messing around with the phone at a residence in Carlyle.

An individual in the Carlyle area requested 911 for a non-emergency related matter.

Animal call

There was a complaint in Redvers of a dog being on the loose and entering someone's yard. There were no issues other than the animal has been at large before.

Assault

A report of an assault in the Carlyle area was referred to Yorkton Tribal Council Family Services as the complainant wouldn't provide RCMP with any proof of the assault.

Currently under investigation is an assault in the Carlyle area.

Another assault was reported during this time, but the complainant just wanted to inform RCMP without pressing charges.

In Carlyle there was a reported assault. The individual had been kicked out of their residence, but refused to provide a statement to RCMP.

There was a reported assault with a weapon in Kisbey which is currently under investigation.

Assistance

RCMP provided assistance to the Regina Police Services concerning a hit and run accident.

A 36-year-old male failed to report an accident near Fairlight which saw Carlyle RCMP assist Moosomin RCMP in the investigation.

Assistance was given to the Fort Qu'Appelle detachment for a case of uttering threats.

Breach of conditions

There was a breach of conditions in the Carlyle area.

In the Carlyle area an individual was reported for failing to comply with conditions. The individual was not located and there were no further complaints regarding the matter.

Driving infractions

In Redvers there was an erratic driver reported as being on their way to Moosomin. The vehicle was not located by the Carlyle detachment.

There was a second erratic driver reported during this time. They were reportedly swerving between the lines in the eastbound lane, but RCMP inspected, located the vehicle, and didn't witness anything dangerous about the individual's driving.

A 37-year-old male in Carlyle was charged $580 for operating an unregistered motor vehicle. This same charge was applied to a 17-year-old female near Arcola.

Speeding tickets were issued to a 30-year-old male for $220, a 42-year-old female for $135, a 43-year-old male for $135, a 65-year-old male for $212, a 38-year-old male for $136, a 20-year-old female for $196, and a 25-year-old male for $408.

A 31-year-old male was fined for speeding with a ticket of $214, while also receiving a charge for inadequate child restraint or failing to wear a seatbelt at $175.

Tickets were also issued for passing emergency vehicles outside of Arcola. A 23-year-old male was charged $238 and a 43-year-old male was fined $332.

There was also a ticket issued to a 44-year-old female for passing highway workers at speeds greater than 60 km/h, which resulted in a fine of $360.

Numerous tickets were issued for failing to wear a seatbelt. This included a 21-year-old male, an 80-year-old male, a 52-year-old female, a 28-year-old female, a 49-year-old female, a 46-year-old female, and a 30-year-old female who were all fined $175.

Motor vehicle collisions

A collision occurred in Redvers as an individual lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. This is currently under investigation.

A non-reportable collision occurred in Carlyle with one vehicle backing into another. The one person decided it best to report the accident just in case, both vehicles drove away from the scene.

Warrants issued

A warrant was issued for a 14-year-old female for failing to attend court.

There were warrants put out for both a 46-year-old male and a 52-year-old male for failing to attend court and finger printing.

A warrant was issued for a 33-year-old male for failing to attend court.

False alarms

False alarms were inspected at two businesses in Arcola, the school in Wawota, as well as one of the schools in Carlyle. In all cases there were no signs of breaking and entering.

Alcohol related infractions

There was a possibly impaired driver north of Carlyle, but the individual was not located.

Another call north of Carlyle for an impaired driver resulted in RCMP unable to locate the driver.

In Carlyle a 27-year-old male was charged with having open alcohol in a vehicle. He was fined $360 and given a 30 day suspension.

An anonymous complaint was given to RCMP regarding a possibly impaired driver. The driver was not located.

Suspicious persons

A suspicious vehicle was reported at the White Bear Band Office, but was gone when RCMP arrived.

A report of two suspicious males was called into the RCMP. The two males asked a 14-year-old male if he wanted a ride. The 14-year-old said the two men appeared to have been intoxicated. RCMP searched for the two males but were unable to locate them.

Uttering threats

A report in Carlyle was made of someone uttering threats. This case is under investigation.

Another report in Carlyle of uttering threats was called into the RCMP, but the complainant declined to pursue charges.

In Manor a report of uttering threats is currently under investigation.

There was a final case of uttering threats this time in Arcola which remains under investigation.

Other calls to service

In Arcola there was a report of mischief regarding damage to a room. The complainant was directed towards the Hotel Keepers Act.

Theft of fuel in Carlyle is under investigation as an individual filled up their vehicle and left without paying. The individual has agreed to return and pay for the gas.

A call of mischief was filed as a child under 12-years-old originally reported a robbery in Arcola. There was no robbery and the mother was contacted to deal with the matter.
