Between the week of Aug. 2 and Aug. 9 the Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 68 calls
911 calls
There was a total of three 911 calls during the period. The first call was a complainant regarding a missing person but the individual eventually showed up. The other was from an elderly woman in Wawota seeking help with her phone battery, members of the RCMP visited the location and fixed the issue. There was also a complaint of a possible theft of alcohol from a camp site in Kenosee Lake.
Break and enter
A break and enter occurred at Carlyle RV and Leisure where a bike was tipped over and damaged. An 18-year-old male admitted to the damage and no charges were laid.
Assistance
There was a call for assistance from the Arcola hospital. There was also a call for assistance to locate an individual but he was eventually found. There were complaints regarding harassment in the local area as well as calls regarding electronic monitoring. A request was made to locate an individual and she was found.
Breech of the Peace
There were reports of breach of the peace in the local area but no charges laid.
A 35-year-old male was arrested due to breech of peace but he was released the next morning.
In Redvers there were complaints of loud music being played, the person responsible was warned and given a copy of the by-law. There were also complaints of noise in Carlyle, the individual responsible was warned and given a copy of the by-law as well.
Failing to attend court
In Carlyle a 25-year-old male was charged for failing to attend court.
False alarm
There were four cases of false alarm; one was reported in Redvers where the cause was unknown. While there were reports of false alarms on Main Street in Carlyle and the other on Railway Ave., the cause is unknown.
Breech of curfew
A 17-year-old female was charged with breeching her curfew.
Fraud
There were reports of a fraudulent paving crew near Arcola; they were located and found to be in good standing.
Lost and found
There was one cell phone in Carlyle reported lost.
Mischief
There were reports of mischief in the local area regarding an intoxicated individual who did not want to leave the residence; upon arrival of the police he was cooperative. In Redvers, there was report of mischief involving a window, however no entry was gained. A Main Street business window was damaged but no confirmation can be made as to the cause. In the local area there were reports of tires being slashed.
Animals
There was a report of an accident involving a deer in Kenosee Lake.
Theft
In Carlyle there was report of stolen gas, the driver was located and arranged payment explaining it was a misunderstanding as he forgot to pay. There was another report of a 16-year-old male involved in theft of gas in Carlyle.
Stolen vehicle
In Carlyle there were reports of unfounded vehicle theft. There was also recovery of a vehicle that was reported stolen, no suspects were found.
Impaired driver
There were reports of a possible impaired driver in Carlyle, checks were made by the RCMP but the driver was not located. There was a report of an impaired driver in the local area but when located he was sober. In the local area there were reports of a possible impaired driver, but the vehicle could not be found. In Arcola, there were also reports of a possible impaired driver but when checks were made they were not located.
Hit and run
There was one case of a hit and run in Carlyle which involved a Buick Lacrosse
Intoxication
An intoxicated female near HWY 9 was arrested but released without charges.
A 26-year-old male was charged for intoxication in a public place at Moose Mountain Provincial Park and received a fine of $90.
On HWY 13 near Carlyle, there was a report of a 20-year-old male walking without a shirt, thought to be intoxicated, he was located and taken home. There were complaints of disturbance of the peace in Moose Mountain Provincial Park and a 24-year-old male was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
Suspicious vehicle
There reports of a suspicious vehicle taking pictures of farm property in the Carlyle Area
Traffic Infractions
On HWY 9 near White Bear a 21-year-old male was charged with driving without a license.
On HWY 13 near Carlyle a vehicle check was done and a 21-year-old male was charged for driving with a disqualified license. In Carlyle a 19-year-old male was charged for driving an unregistered vehicle.
In Redvers on HWY 13 a 22-year-old female was charged for speeding and fined $131.
A 25-year-old male was charged for speeding on HWY 13 near Carlyle and fined $456.
A 70-year-old female fined $138 for speeding near Carlyle.
A 36-year-old male in Carlyle was charged for speeding and fined $182.In Redvers a 33-year-old male was charged for speeding and fined $150.
On HWY 9 near White Bear an 18-year-old female was charged for speeding and fined $188.
On HWY 13 near Forget a 39-year-old male was charged for speeding and fined $200.
A 20 year old male was issued a ticket for speeding near Arcola and saw a fine of $196.
On HWY 9 near Carlyle a vehicle was checked and found that the taillights were not working, repairs have been made.
In White Bear there were complaints of kids driving quads, checks made but they were not located.
On HWYY 13 near Arcola there were complaints of an erratic driver, the driver was warned and no charges laid.
Collisions
There were reports of a traffic collision on HWY 9, there were no injuries and no charges laid.
There was a single vehicle roll over HWY 7 near Wawota, there were no injuries and no charges laid.
