Between April 12 and 18 the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP received 58 calls.
Members responded to a total of four 911 dispatch calls, which were all deemed to be false.
A call concerning an abandoned vehicle that was left on Highway 13 near Manor was reported.
A second call of an abandoned vehicle was also responded to. In this case the vehicle contained several drug related items, which were seized as well as a small amount of cannabis. This matter remains under investigation.
A call of loose dogs was reported in the Town of Wawota.
There were two assaults which took place in the early morning of April 13 in Arcola. One male was assaulted and the RCMP is determining who the suspects are.
Two requests of assistance were placed by outside agencies where documents had to be served on local residents.
In total the RCMP assisted with two files concerning the general public and helping with situations, which were non-offence matters; but, required assistance.
A break and enter was reported in Kisbey during this week of calls, but members attended and determined that a break-in had not occurred.
There were two calls of domestic disputes between the 12 and 18 of April. RCMP attended in both cases where each subject had calmed down to a point where no arrests had to be made.
A complaint regarding a 61-year-old male driving without a licence was reported, but the subject has not been located yet.
Three subjects were charged with failing to comply with release conditions. Each of the three people are currently wanted by the RCMP.
There was one report of a vehicle being struck and damaged while parked. The exact location of the incident is unknown and there are no leads at this time.
Another report of damage to a vehicle was reported. The damage occurred in a parking lot. The RCMP currently have a suspect and are continuing their investigation.
A false alarm at a business in Arcola was responded to by members.
There was a complaint of harassing phone calls being made by a 62-year-old male who has been charged and will be facing charges in court.
During the week a 45-year-old male was arrested and is now facing charges in accordance with violating a White Bear First Nations bylaw regarding disorderly conduct.
There were three complaints of mischief in this time. One concerned a 48-year-old male and a 41-year-old female having to be removed from location. They are now facing liquor related charges. The second complaint involved a 21-year-old male who was arrested and removed from the location and is facing liquor related charges. The third call, which was responded to by members of the RCMP was determined to have been a non-offence.
A call regarding youth driving a quad south of Carlyle was reported. RCMP patrolled, but were unable to find the subjects.
A complaint of debris having been left or thrown from a vehicle onto Highway 9 near Carlyle was reported. Patrols were made, but the debris had been cleaned prior to RCMP arrival.
Two complaints were received regarding suspicious persons in a vehicle. The RCMP investigated and located the individuals, but no offence was committed.
There were three collisions reported over the course of the week. Two were minor collisions with no injuries and no charges laid, while the third involved a 17-year-old female who rolled a vehicle and was treated for minor injuries.
A complaint was received by RCMP regarding a person uttering threats to harm another individual. At this time there have been no arrests and no charges laid, but the matter is under investigation.
This week also saw on stop sign violation, 11 speeding tickets, three seatbelt tickets, an inspection ticket, and a ticket for a radar detector being in a commercial vehicle.
The stop sign ticket of $230 was given to a 47-year-old male.
Speeding tickets involved a 26-year-old male ($184), a 24-year-old female ($135), an 18-year-old female ($139), a 48-year-old female ($150), a 54-year-old female ($135), a 66-year-old male ($135), a 29-year-old male ($206), a 29-year-old male ($220), a 45-year-old male ($196), a 55-year-old male ($139), and a 30-year-old male ($138).
Seatbelt tickets went to a 17-year-old male, a 20-year-old male, and a 44-year-old male. All seatbelt tickets were fore $175.
An inspection ticket was issued to a 17-year-old male to have front window tint removed from the vehicle.
Finally, a 58-year-old male was charged $150 for having a radar detector in a commercial vehicle.
