Sympathy to family and friends of Millie (Brayford) Seiverwright, who passed away recently in Saskatoon. She was 97 years old and the widow of Stuart Seiverwright. They were former residents of the Parkman/Manor area and had a family with two boys, Jerry and Randy.

Dora Knelsen has been blessed with two new great-granddaughters in the last four weeks. Born to Michael Hamilton and Dinorah Lopez on Nov. 15 was a daughter, who has been named Charlotte Dora Lopez Hamilton. Michael and Dinorah live in Calgary. 

Born to Stephen Hamilton and Erin Wasson, a daughter on Dec. 10. She has been named sawyer Joan. Stephen and Erin live in Saskatoon. Grandparents are Kathy Hamilton and Steve Linnen.

More good news from the Garratt family of Spruce Grove, Alta. Hudson Garratt has been promoted to warrant officer, first class and is the squadron commander. I understand he is to be addressed as "Sir." Congratulations for this achievement!

We are happy to have two of our residents return home this past week. Saundra Corkish who spent six or seven weeks in hospital after surgery and recuperation, arrived home earlier this month. Ed Young, who has been away several weeks healing after a fall and broken bones, is back home
