The Saskatchewan Water Security Agency continues to release water from Grant Devine Lake near Alameda.
The agency announced last week it would have to start a spring release from the reservoir due to the precipitation received this spring in the southeast. As of Tuesday morning, the release rate was 10 cubic metres per second (m3/s) and is ongoing.
Reductions may occur later this week as inflows from Moose Mountain Creek are declining.
The WSA is also making diversions from Boundary Dam Reservoir into Rafferty Dam Reservoir at a rate of four m3/s, starting Tuesday, as Boundary is now near its full supply level.
The WSA believes this should help balance some of the available storage capacity at these two reservoirs.
