V盲derstad, one of the world鈥檚 leading companies in seeding, planting and tillage, is set to ramp up production once again at the production facility in Langbank.
Strong commodity prices and growing markets have led to an increased demand of products manufactured at the facility. To meet these growing demands V盲derstad Industries continues to ramp up the production process by actively recruiting for multiple positions in the production plant
As V盲derstad Industries continue to ramp up production, the company held a production job fair in Moosomin recently to fill these production opportunities.
鈥淭he job fair went moderately well,鈥� says Tatum Larose, talent acquisition specialist with V盲derstad Industries. 鈥淎lthough it wasn鈥檛 as big a turnout as we hoped, we were able to fill six positions.鈥�
鈥淲e鈥檙e looking to fill production positions up until November.鈥�
V盲derstad implemented a second shift in the evening in late June to the daily schedule with shift premiums.
With just over 200 employees today, the company is looking for more recruits.
鈥淲e鈥檙e hoping to fill many positions mainly in the production facility including welders, assembly technicians, paint prep technicians, and material handlers in the warehouse,鈥� explains Larose.

In order to meet production demands V盲derstad is looking to hire hardworking and motivated individuals for multiple production positions.
鈥淲e are increasing production volumes 60 per cent to meet current market demands,鈥� explains Jared Varjassy, manufacturing director at V盲derstad.
鈥淐urrently we have job openings for 55 people throughout various parts of our business to help us achieve our output requirement,鈥� says Varjassy.
