UPDATE: The travel not recommended advisories for southeast Saskatchewan have been lifted.
The first of the advisories was issued at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the Estevan area, and more highways were added to the list Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning. But the last of the advisories were lifted Thursday just before 8 a.m.
In addition to poor visibility, the highways reported swirling snow and drifting snow, and were ice covered.
Highways in the southeast still report that winter conditions exist.
A special weather statement remains in effect for southeast Saskatchewan and Regina due to snowfall accumulations.
