Cheyenne Bonner was camping at Fish Creek Campground in Moose Mountain Provincial Park [MMPP] with a friend for a few nights.

Bonner is from Carnduff and has visited MMPP during the summer for most of her life. Growing up, Bonner also visited Moosomin Lake regularly and also enjoys to camp at Oak Lake, which is just across the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border, east of Virden.

When camping Bonner enjoys the water, spending time at the beach, boating and having a campfire in the evening.

She likes the standard camping staple, roasting hotdogs, and also notes that smores are great to make over the open fire. I learn that a smore is chocolate-covered graham wafer biscuit with a roasted marshmallow smunched in between.

Bonner has hopes to camp at Banff if the opportunity arises, having stayed there in a hotel when young. She thinks it would be great to tent there in the outdoors and enjoy all that nature has to offer.

During a  trip to MMPP’s main beach Bonner made it over to Allison’s store for ice cream and also purchased a floatie to relax on in the water.

Bonner also has enjoyed golfing at Golf Kenosee and loves spending time eating at the clubhouse, speaking of the particularly beautiful scenic view. She enjoys checking out the local cafés anytime she goes camping and recommends Kenosee Lake as a place everyone should camp at during a vacation.
