The sounds of a woman screaming prompted police action on the night of May 27. The incident that was reported in the central part of the city led police to a group of young people who suggested that they were simply "fooling around."

The young people were warned about the City's noise bylaw and no charges were laid.
The next report coming to police that same evening involved a man and woman who were walking down the street and also fighting, so police tracked them down and separated the two of them and learned that no assault had taken place. The woman was taken to a friend's home for the night.
Police were next called to a local lounge in response to a report of a male patron who was refusing to leave when asked to do so. Police placed a heavily intoxicated man under arrest and he was lodged in cells until sober. It was learned that he was a suspect in several other outstanding matters so he was issued a June court date.

Several intoxicated people were interviewed at a local lounge later that same night. Police activity in that regard revealed several with outstanding warrants issued against them so these people were rounded up and arrested and will appear in court at a later date.

A report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a local restaurant prompted police investigation that same evening. Police identified the suspect vehicle but learned that nobody had been struck and that the supposed victim was simply intoxicated and causing problems for the driver. All parties were warned about their activities and sent on their separate ways.

An impaired driver leaving a local lounge was observed driving over a parking barricade and curb in front of the establishment, right in front of a police vehicle. The vehicle was stopped by police and a 26-year-old Estevan man was arrested for impaired driving and lodged in cells until sober. He will appear in court in June to face charges.

Several tickets were issued throughout the evening with most of them being under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act for people who were consuming alcohol in public.

On the night of May 28, police were called to a disturbance in the industrial area of the city. Upon arrival, police were informed that an intoxicated Manitoba woman was damaging property. She was arrested and lodged in cells until sober while the matter remains under investigation.

A noisy party complaint was responded to by police that same night. The party was going on in the city's east side so police spoke to the host, the party was disbanded and no charges were laid.

On the night of May 28, police were called to an incident of theft in progress at a local business. When they attended, police nabbed two Estevan men who had removed items from the business. Further investigation revealed that other thefts had taken place dating back to early May so both men were charged and later released with a court appearance date established for early July.
