Between October and December of 2020, a local farmer had 35 cows and 28 calves on multiple sections of land between Moosomin and Fairlight went missing. All the cows were branded with a bar over TE (photo attached) . Livestock Services are assisting with the investigation, and will know if any of these animals hit auction marts, etc. The 35 cows consisted of 22 black and white 13 red cows. Steer calves have green ear tags, heifer calves have yellow ear tags, calves aren't branded. This is being investigated as a theft.
