SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The Estevan Mercury and the Carlyle Observer are thrilled with the response for this year's Christmas Bingo promotion.
More than 600 Bingo cards were submitted from people throughout southeast Saskatchewan. Some of the participating businesses gave away all of their Bingo cards.
The goal of both papers was to get our readers into the businesses that participated in the Christmas Catalogue this year. The catalogue went out to over 11,000 households in November, and featured all sorts of great gift ideas.
The grand prize winner for having the most numbers checked off was Mackenzie Paton, who won a leather-lock fabric rocker recliner from The Brick in Estevan.
April Gustafson won a $300 gift basket from businesses that participated in the Mercury and Observer's Christmas Catalogue. Holly Boreski won a $100 gift card from Â鶹ÊÓƵern Plains Co-op for having two lines in any direction. Several people won a JB Sausage Maker Supplies Kit from Estevan Gerry's Freezer Meats.
There were also movie passes and gift cards from the Orpheum Theatre in Estevan for some who had no lines.
