Last year at around this time, The Observer and a few of the local businesses put on a promotion to stir up the Christmas shopping season. A gnome wearing a Santa hat was placed in a participating business each Friday from Nov. 30 until Dec. 21. The shopper who found the gnome and brought him back to The Observer won $100 in Carlyle Christmas Cash to be spent at any of the participating businesses.
The promotion was so popular that we decided to put it on again this year. Just like last year, each Friday beginning Nov. 30 until Dec. 14, the one foot tall gnome in his little Santa hat will be placed in one of participating businesses. Find him, bring him back to us and the $100 Carlyle Christmas Cash is yours!
