Temporary closure of the Wolseley Memorial Integrated Care Centre
The Wolseley Memorial Integrated Health Care Centre will be putting a temporary pause on admitting patients due to the need to reassign staff to support an outbreak of COVID-19 at the Golden Prairie Home in Indian Head. All Alternate Level of Care (ALC) patients who were at the Wolseley facility were relocated to Broadview Union Hospital on November 8, 2020.ÌýThe decision to reassign staff was made to ensure we have adequate staffing available to support our most vulnerable population living in long term care.
Patients can access acute care services in Kipling, Moosomin and Indian Head. If they are unable to drive to those communities, they should call 9-1-1. Non-urgent health-related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1.
