'Suspicious person with a weapon' reported in Carnduff; one person in custody

RCMP says there is no risk to the public.

The RCMP is investigating an incident in Carnduff.

CARNDUFF - One person is in custody following an incident in Carnduff on Wednesday. 

According to a post from the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, the RCMP is currently investigating an incident regarding a suspicious person with a weapon in the 700-block of Spencer Street.

The RCMP says it has one person in custody and there is no risk to the public. The RCMP also asked the public to avoid the Spencer Street area for a few hours Wednesday evening and into Wednesday night.  Anyone who may have seen a male wearing a black sweater, green shorts and running shoes,between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on their property Wednesday is asked to contact 310-RCMP and report their information.
