1. The executive for 2011 includes Mae Eckert as chair, Eleanor Graham as vice-chair, Lorraine Eckert as treasurer, and librarian Laura Knibbs as secretary. Our rec board rep is Janet Carnegie. Other board members are Blaine Morrison, John Woodward, Betty Terney and Irene Szeponski. An additional board member is currently awaiting appointment. The library seeks a board representative from Forget.

2. On Tuesday, February 1, the library hosted Rhonda Donais of Regina, an aboriginal storyteller and clown whose fantastic presentation was enjoyed by Grades 4, 5 & 6 at the school - a highly entertaining event.

3. February 3, Heather Hamm of Forget provided an informational presentation on managing gluten-free diets. The evening began with a gluten-free potluck super which was delicious and amazingly varied in spite of restrictions surrounding choices of ingredients. Thank you to Heather for her experience, wisdom, insight and advice and thank you to the many who attended this enlightening event.

4. Betty Terney has donated a lovely gift basket for a Valentines door prize open to all library patrons. When you visit the library, be sure to enter your name for the draw. The draw will be made Feb. 26.

5. Programming for the coming weeks is still in the planning stages. Watch for posters.
