Regina man arrested while stuck in garage

Accused also in breach of conditions, police say.

REGINA – A Regina man was able to break in to a garage, but unable to find a way out.

In the early morning hours of June 7, police were sent to a home on Knight Crescent in response to a break and enter call. But what the 41-year-old that allegedly broke in did not know was how he was going to leave the scene.

"The complainant reported to police that a male had broken into the garage," said RPS in a media release. "The suspect male was unable to flee and remained in the garage."

Police arrested Jonathan Longman and charged him with break and enter with intent, and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.

He's scheduled to make a first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on July 19.
