Story:The Carlyle RCMP detachment handled 37 calls from Sept. 5 to 13.
Sept. 5
A 26-year-old male was charged with impaired driving on highway 9 near Carlyle. The male was arrested, provided samples and released on documents to appear in court on a future date.
There was a complaint of intoxicated teenagers making noise at Kenosee Lake. Members attended but all those involved had left by the time police arrived.
Members performed a vehicle stop on a probationary driver in Carlyle. They found the driver was showing signs of intoxication and a 30-day suspension was issued. The driver was not over the legal limit of .08.
Members attended to a complaint of neighbours throwing rocks at each others' houses in Kisbey. Verbal warnings were issued. No further complaints were received.
Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Redvers. Both vehicles were damaged in the incident. There were no injuries. The collision may have been caused by limited visibility due to heavy rainfall at the time.
Sept. 6
Police responded to an alarm at a business in the Carlyle area. Members attended and found everything was secure.
Police attended to a complaint of a fire at Wauchope. It is believed the fire started by lighting striking some garbage. There was no property damage.
A caller from Redvers informed police there were youth setting off fireworks and jumping from roof-top to roof-top in the town. Members attended but did not locate any individuals.
Sept. 7
Police received a complaint of an intoxicated male staggering down highway 13 near Carlyle. Members attended and arrested the individual. He was lodged in cells at the detachment overnight until sober.
Sept. 8
A 19-year-old male was charged with speeding for travelling 127 km in a 100 km zone along 13 near Carlyle.
A 24-year-old male was issued a ticket for failing to wear his seatbelt properly while driving in Carlyle.
The detachment received a complaint of an alarm at a business in Carlyle. Members attended and found it to be a false alarm.
Sept. 9
Carlyle RCMP received a complaint of single-vehicle collision with a deer near Kisbey. No injuries were reported.
Sept. 10
Members received a 911 call for medical reasons from a residence in the Carlyle area. Members attended with ambulance, but upon arrival it was determined police were not required.
Police received a complaint of an intoxicated male at a residence in the Carlyle area. Members attended but the subject of complaint had left. Everything was all right and the matter was concluded.
Sept. 11
A truck caught on fire west of Carlyle. Carlyle RCMP members attended along with members of Carlyle's fire department. Police continue to investigate.
Members of Carlyle RCMP responded to a complaint of a fight at an establishment in Carlyle. One subject was injured and transported to Regina for medical treatment. Police continue to investigate.
Carlyle RCMP members are investigating a report which came in from the Carlyle area regarding alleged threatening text messages.
Police received a report that a vehicle in the Wawota area had driven into the ditch and knocked over a number of road signs. Members are continuing their investigation into this matter.
Members received a complaint of a break-and-enter alarm from Cannington Lake. Police are continuing the investigation.
Carlyle RCMP members are investigating an assault complaint in the Carlyle area.
Members performed a vehicle stop in the Carlyle area. They found the 18-year-old female did not have a valid driver's license and issued her a ticket.
Police responded to a complaint of shoplifters in Redvers. The suspects were identified. Police continue to investigate.
Carlyle RCMP members responded to a complaint of an assault in the Carlyle area. The matter is still under investigation.
Sept. 12
Police received a complaint of a missing five-year-old child in Carlyle. Members were advised a short time later the child was found safe.
Members arrested a 23-year-old male for breeching his conditions. The subject was taken to Estevan court.
Carlyle RCMP members travelled to Redvers after receiving a complaint that motor bikes were cat-walking up and down streets in the town. Patrols were made but police were unable to locate the subjects of complaint.
Sept. 13.
Members executed a warrant on behalf of Regina Police Service on a 23-year-old male for outstanding parking tickets.
