The Carlyle RCMP responded to a total of 75 calls between Friday, Oct. 3, and Thursday Oct. 9.
911
A 911 complaint of an individual causing trouble and smashing things inside a residence was reported. Members attended and the subject was removed though no charges were laid.
Assault
An assault occurred in the Carlyle area. Investigation determined the fight was consensual and no charges were laid.
Abandoned vehicles
There was an abandoned vehicle near Manor. It was later removed by the owner, though was initially reported for blocking traffic.
Another abandoned vehicle was found near Carlyle.
Animal complaints
Horses were reported on a road north of Carlyle. This matter is under investigation.
Another animal call regarding roaming horses in the Carlyle area were reported as a traffic hazard.
In Carlyle a female was bit by a dog and the RCMP is investigating under the town bylaws.
A farmer reported a horse and colt in his pasture near Kisbey.
False alarm
A false alarm to a business in Redvers was received, but RCMP were called off by a key holder. In Redvers an individual accidentally hit the panic alarm. The alarm at White Bear Golf Course was found to be false after members attended and ensured the building was secure. A power outage in Redvers caused a false alarm at a business. Manor School staff cancelled an alarm call. A false alarm in Carlyle was cancelled by the alarm company.
Harassment
An individual was receiving unwanted phone calls and wanted the caller to stop.
A female was reportedly harassing another woman. RCMP were requested to attend and speak with the woman, but upon their arrival she had left. There were no further complaints.
Alcohol related calls
There was a report of an intoxicated male in the Carlyle area at a house. Members responded and removed the individual from the home. The individual was arrested and later released with no charges being filed.
Reports of an intoxicated male outside of the Bargain Store in Carlyle were responded to. The individual was located, arrested, and lodged in cells until sober.
Under the liquor act an individual reported littering, likely by hunters, for beer cans being left along the side of a road.
In Arcola a 36-year-old female requested a ride back to her home.
Assistance
Assistance to the Regina Police Service was given in executing a warrant to a 48-year-old male.
A 60-year-old male reported a lost firearms licence card from Wawota.
Theft of a wallet was reported, but the caller later found it.
Five warrants were issued on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for failure to attend court.
Two males reported being stuck on a dirt trail while hunting, RCMP were later informed the individuals got out.
Speeding tickets
A 35-year-old male was fined $186 for speeding; a 42-year-old female was ticketed $150; a 58-year-old female was fined $184; a 46-year-old male was charged $133; a 47-year-old female was fined $132; a 35-year-old male was fined $192; a 48-year-old male was ticketed $135; a 20-year-old male was fined $192; an 18-year-old female was charged $135; a 36-year- old male was fined $448; a 48-year-old male was fined $136; a 28-year-old male was ticketed $139; a 54-year-old male was fined $130; and a 34-year-old female was fined $150.
Other traffic infractions
There were three individuals fined $580 for operating an unregistered vehicle.
An inspection ticket was issued to a 37-year-old female who was asked to get her speedometer checked.
Stop sign tickets were issued to a 39-year-old male, a 24-year-old female, and a 20-year-old male for $230.
Members responded to a Crimestoppers report of a male driving while prohibited. The individual was not located.
Reports of an impaired driver were received south of Carlyle. The vehicle was located and stopped, but alcohol had not been consumed by the driver.
An impaired driver was reported near Forget, but members were unable to locate the individual.
In the Carlyle area a suspicious vehicle was reported for approaching a female and asking if the individual needed a ride. The ride was declined and the vehicle drove away.
There was an erratic driver reported north of Carlyle for swerving and driving at high speeds, but the vehicle was not located.
A disqualified driver was reportedly operating a vehicle in the Carlyle area. Patrols were made, but the vehicle was not located.
A 22-year-old female was fined $150 for not having a valid licence near Kisbey.
There was an erratic driver reported near Carlyle on Hwy 13, but patrols were unable to locate the vehicle.
Investigation of erratic driving is currently underway with reports of two cars passing a vehicle along the shoulder of the road.
Vehicle collisions
A single vehicle collision occurred near Kenosee Lake where a sign was damaged. No one was injured and the collision was reported to Highways.
There was a two-vehicle collision which occurred north of Carlyle. There were no injuries and the matter is currently under investigation.
A hit and run collision occurred in Carlyle and is currently under investigation.
No injuries were received in a single vehicle collision in a rural area near Manor. The driver lost control on a gravel road and rolled. Alcohol was not a factor and no charges were laid.
A two-vehicle collision occurred on Hwy 13 in Carlyle. There were no injuries and the matter is under investigation.
There was a traffic collision along Hwy 13 near Arcola, but it was determined to be a non-reportable accident.
