Between Oct. 4 and Oct. 11 the Carlyle detachment of the RCMP responded to 40 occurrences.

On Oct. 5 there was a false alarm in Redvers, which was also responded to.

Oct. 5 was also a day the RCMP had set up a traffic stop. One driver's breath smelled of liquor. The driver was issued a 24 hour suspension of their licence following a breath sample. The vehicle was also seized for 30 days according to the Traffic Safety Act. In addition to the traffic offence two small baggies of marijuana were found in the vehicle. This is still under investigation.

The Carlyle detachment also assisted the Regina RCMP with a fraud investigation. The suspect issued a cheque for $29,864 to purchase a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

There was a hit and run in Antler on this day as well. The matter is still under investigation.

On Oct. 5 a vehicle refused to stop at the traffic stop. The vehicle was followed and the driver was arrested showing signs of impairment. The driver refused to provide a breath sample. They were charged with refusal, flight, and impaired driving.

Members were called on Oct. 5 to keep the peace at a residence and were later called back.

There was a complaint of an assault on Oct. 6. The call was to a local school where a fight had broken out. This matter is still under investigation.

Members responded to a false 911 call on Oct. 6, which was due to an accidental dial.

On Oct. 6 members responded to keep the peace at a residence.

An assault with a weapon was reported on Oct. 7. The victim had been hit with a metal bar and the suspect was arrested and held in custody.

Members also responded to a complaint of a semi-truck parked in a residential area idling for three hours on this day. The semi was gone upon arrival.

A dog was hit by a car on Oct. 7. The dog's owner was notified, attended, and took the animal to the vet.

Two speeding tickets were issued on Oct. 7 as well as five tickets for failing to stop at a stop sign.

On Oct. 8 the RCMP assisted in locating a missing youth. The youth was eventually located by their mother.

A complaint was issued concerning someone honking their vehicle horn excessively. The individual was located and a verbal warning was issued.

On this day another ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign was issued.

Oct. 9 saw a complaint of a break and enter at the White Bear Education Complex. This matter is under investigation and if anyone has information pertaining to this incident they are asked to contact the RCMP.

There was a complaint of assault to a young person on Oct. 9. The matter is still under investigation.

Members responded to the complaint of a house party. The attendant spoke with persons responsible and asked to turn down their music.

On Oct. 10 members were called by an intoxicated person. They stated that issues had arisen with family members and the RCMP attended. They spoke with all parties concerned and no further attendance was required.

An intoxicated person called 911 on Oct. 10 indicating they needed a ride. The caller was warned 911 is for emergencies only and was warned they could be charged with misuse.

There was a complaint of a residential false alarm on Oct. 10. Members attended and the premise was found to be secure.

Finally on Oct. 10 there was a complaint of a vehicle being driven erratically, which members were able to locate. A witness had obtained the plate number of the vehicle and the driver was then spoken with.
