On May 27, at about 1:45 a.m., members of the Moose Jaw Police Service conducted a traffic stop on Ninth Avenue Northeast, where they searched the vehicle and found drugs and other related items.
Specifically, the traffic stop yielded 15.1 grams of cocaine and other paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking such as cash.
As a result, police charged two individuals with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. One of the individuals was also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
Also, one of the individuals was arrested on multiple warrants and will make a first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on May 27.
