Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of May 3 to 10:
*On May 9, two young males were charged for theft under $5,000. The boys were caught stealing lawn ornament lights from the front lawn of a residence.
*Police are investigating two separate incidents of assault over the weekend.
*A resident reported that she returned home to find that her residence had been broken into. A 50-inch TV was stolen from the house. Investigation is ongoing.
*On May 8, a retailer of camper trailers reported that several of their new campers were broken into and several items stolen. This investigation is ongoing.
*A 21-year-old female was charged with undo care and attention as a result of a traffic accident with a tree in the 10 block of First Avenue NE. Over $10,000 damage was done to the vehicle.
*On May 7, police received a report that a purse had been stolen from a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle reported seeing a five-foot, seven-inch slim male with short brown hair wearing a black hoodie take her purse. Police were unable to locate the individual at the time. Investigation is ongoing.
*On May 4, police received four reports of vehicles being rummaged through although no reportable thefts occurred.
* Police responded to 87 complaints during this reporting period.
