Never held a Paintbrush

Elaine Rawlings of Hamiota, MB had never held a paintbrush, but in 1981 she was encouraged to join the Hamiota Art Club. She decided to take lessons in watercolour and discovered a natural talent.

Elaine Rawlings of Hamiota, MB had never held a paintbrush, but in 1981 she was encouraged to join the Hamiota Art Club. She decided to take lessons in watercolour and discovered a natural talent. 

She has a passion for painting abandoned houses and completed several during her second year at the Moose Mountain Provincial Park Art Colony Retreat held in August this year.
