Motorist caught travelling 204 km/h near Carlyle

CARLYLE - A motorist is facing a hefty fine after being nabbed for speeding near Carlyle.

A traffic stop was conducted on July 28 at 10:15 p.m. on Highway 13 just west of the town.

The driver was clocked at 204 kilometres per hour in an area where the speed limit is 100 km/h.

The motorist was charged for dangerous driving under the Criminal Code and was fined $1,358. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
