Moose Mountain Wildlife Federation hosted its annual Dinner andAwards Night for the 2010 season at the Carlyle Curling Club on February 6, 2011.
A great meal was served of various wild meat entrees, game birds and fish, donated by the members. Receiving awards this year in the adult division: Moose - Robin Brown; Whitetail typical - Robert Duncan; Whitetail nontypical - Ken Woods; Mule deer nontypical- Philip Hewitt; Jack fish- Philip Hewitt; Walleye -Trevor Morrison;Perch- Harry Laurent; Pheasant- Philip Hewitt; Mallard duck- Dan Coderre; Canada goose- Dan Coderre; Prairie chicken- DanCoderre; Antelope- Sarah Pearson. In the Junior Division: White tail typical - Mariah Brown; Jack Fish -Makenna Morrison; Walley - Mitchell Morrison; Perch- Joe Cornwell; Pheasant- Ben Cornwell; Prairiechicken- Ben Cornwell.
Plans are underwayfor the MMWLF members to takeanyone interested in ice fishing to Round Lake on Sunday, March 6. Hotdogs and hot chocolate will be provided. Watch for posters.
