     On Saturday, April 25 the residents at Moose Mountain Lodge in Carlyle were entertained by singer Maddison Townsend of Alida.
        Townsend was set up outside the Lodge and residents were able to view her through the window.
        For 30 minutes, Townsend took to the microphone, singing five songs for the residents and staff to enjoy. The performance was also streamed live on Facebook.
        Dawn Britt, one of the activity workers at the Lodge and happens to be Townsend’s coach, organized the event.
     Townsend has been singing since a very young age and placed first in several categories at the Carnduff Musical Festival held at Oxbow in February 2020.
