Firstly, I must apologize for omitting a sincere thank you to Judy Skiba for again extending her usual shift (on staff) an extra hour to accompany us (the tenants) on piano for an unscheduled sing along one afternoon.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic: has changed many activities in our lives, the staff and others have stepped in, knowing the days can be very lengthy without activity. We are extremely thankful for their time spent as long as they remember to wear their masks. That is very important.
Visitors were as follows: Richard Ketcheson, Rhonda Ross, Valerie Puskas, Dallas and Debbie Toms, Verla Smith, Freda Fletcher, Gwen Donais, Blair Wilson, Phil Mark, Cheryl Friesen, Janet Thiessen, Ingrid Hansen, Wayne Smith, Wendy Currie, Roy Bortolotto, Sharon Beutler, Rhonda Sweeting, Grant Wilson, Valerie Van Dresar, Roy Swanton, Morley Hamilton, Dennis and Gisele Toms, and Wayne and Jason Smyth.
Our scheduled activities have been ongoing. Bingo is two or three times weekly, floor curling and exercises as well as Friday evening movie are also happening.
Doris Erickson is kept busy as activity director and I often think about the walking exercises she gets coming and going to fulfill her responsibilities. I'm sure she is thankful that the snow has disappeared for a bit longer period.
As you have already noticed the visitor register puts a smile on our faces and we are always thankful that our families and friends take the time to drop by.
