As I begin my report, I find that a few snowflakes are in the air.Â
I wonder how much snow we’ll have by Christmas? So far, so good. There will be very little change here at the villa because of it, except for the warmer clothing and snow boots when we have the good fortune to be taken out for a bit or when we venture out for a short walk- we do that occasionally. Most of us use walkers, which are a great help to save us from a dangerous fall.
Recent visitors were Gwen Donais, Stacey Beutler, Rod Wagner, Phil Mark, Valerie Van Dresar, Rhonda Ross, Cheryl Friesen, Lorna Raisbeck, Rhonda Sweeting, Marcie Ruisch, Verla Smith, lndrid Hansen, April Gaiger, Lydia Frazer, Donald Baker, Val Puskas, Cynthia Zuke, and Roy Bortolotto. Thanks so much for your company.
Janet received an unexpected parcel from the McKenzie Seed Co. this week and she is quite sure it was a gift from her daughter and family living in Philadelphia. It contained 40 tulip bulbs. Angela and Marlee planted them immediately, so we are all looking forward to a large increase of flowers next spring.
We are extremely thankful for a very appropriate gift and Janet has made contact on our behalf as well as her own.
Our activities continue as scheduled, so we are now waiting patiently for the COVID virus to fade away (if not to end abruptly). It is difficult to understand why some are not taking this virus to heart. A mask is a must and six feet of distancing between people may save lives. It's up to you and me.
Sunrise Villa’s rule is only two visitors to a room at the same time. Thank you.
