Maryfield Sunrise Villa News

We had another birthday party this past week when Mildred Wilson celebrated her 91st birthday. Her two daughters came from Regina to spend the day with her and brought a special cake, which we all enjoyed at supper time.
We had another birthday party this past week when Mildred Wilson celebrated her 91st birthday.
Her two daughters came from Regina to spend the day with her and brought a special cake, which we all enjoyed at supper time. We then sang the usual Happy Birthday.
Our activities continue as scheduled under the direction of Doris Erickson with exercises, floor curling and Bingo. Charlotte Kovach shows a movie and popcorn every Friday evening and keeps our bookcases stocked with reading material (regular and large print).
We certainly appreciate the services these two women render! The books that we enjoy are delivered by Charlotte from the local library.
On Wednesday each week a local hairdresser, Krista Downer comes to the villa to look after the tenants needs. Just a note that may be helpful for those planning to visit the tenants here – meals times are breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m., dinner is 11:45 a.m., and supper 4:45 p.m. No meals are served to drop-ins because of the pandemic.
We certainly welcome family members and friends to visit (two at a time maximum) in our rooms only.
VIsitors for the week of Sept. 20-26 were as follows: Floyd and Lee Krukoff, Richard Ketcheson, Sherry Wilson, Milrion Husband, Charlotte Kovach, Heather, Janice Kalaman, Norma Wilson, Donald Baker, Ingrid Hansen, Sharon Kennette, Rick Colborn, Remi and Gwen Donais, Marilyn Mason, Maxine Patron, and Lydia Frazer.
