Manor celebrates graduation

On June 12, the graduating class of Manor celebrated their graduation in a unique way. Staff at Manor school organized and put together a PowerPoint of the graduating class.

On June 12, the graduating class of Manor celebrated their graduation in a unique way. Staff at Manor school organized and put together a PowerPoint of the graduating class.

         The PowerPoint included video taped speeches and a display of pictures of the graduates. Speeches from a variety of people were included within the PowerPoint presentation.

         Garth Herman was the guest speaker this year, giving his tribute to the graduates through video presentation. The tradition of Last Will and Testament for the grade 11’s and class predictions for the Grade 12’s continued this year.

         Micheline Biermann presented the valedictorian address to her fellow graduates. Banners of the graduates were displayed along the edge of town for the community members to see. The graduates and parents organized a parade around town to display the graduates in front of the community members.

         Manor School would like to congratulate Micheline Biermann for receiving The Manor School Staff Scholarship, The Moose Mountain Wildlife Federation, The Village of Manor Mentorship Award, and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ East Cornerstone School Division Scholarship. Manor School would also like to congratulate Kiera Richardson for receiving The Anderson Family Bursary. For outstanding scholastic achievements in 2019, Kyle Bye received the Governor General Award. Congratulations Kyle.

         Congratulations to all of the Manor graduates. Best of luck in the future.
