Hearts in the Window
The Carlyle RCMP Detachment has displayed Hearts in the Windows as part of the Facebook group, Heart Movement.

“Hearts in the Windows” is an acclamation from the Facebook group called the Heart Movement.

The local Carlyle RCMP is showing appreciation for area essential workers by hanging hearts in the windows of the detachment in Carlyle. Detachments across the country are also participating in this show of support for the Facebook group.

“Hanging the hearts are to show the public and remind them that we are all in this together,” constable Dani Zaya explains.

“The purpose is to keep everyone connected, so everyone knows their effort will effectively bring us all through this together”.

“It serves as a focal point to the detachment members and staff of the greater cause that everyone is a part of”.

The display is one more way people are reaching out to each other, showing those people working in essential positions, “that it is critical to society to continue to function” and through these stressful times they are being thought of.
