ESTEVAN - Pro-Life Estevan and Area organized a life chain in the city on Sunday afternoon.
Supporters met up at the St. Joseph's Prayer Centre for some brief information and a prayer. They gathered for a group photo in front of the Estevan Court House and then they stood on Fourth Street, holding signs that expressed their pro-life views.
They were encouraged to stand and quietly pray for an end to abortion and for those affected by abortion.
Similar events were held across the country on Sunday.
The life chain is part of 40 Days for Life activities in Canada this fall.
