CARLYLE - The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure is reporting that a portion of Highway 9 south of Carlyle is open again.
According to the Highway Hotline, the stretch of road was closed Tuesday early afternoon because of a jackknifed semi-trailer unit near Highway 702, 19 kilometres south of Carlyle. Both lanes were reportedly closed.
Motorists were asked to find an alternate route.
