WEYBURN – Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division announced that Georgia Hanwell has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Georgia joined Holy Family as acting CFO on March 1, 2022 and will assume the CFO position on October 1, 2022.
Georgia has a Certified General Accountant designation, now known as Chartered Professional Accountant, and a Master of Business Administration degree through the University of Regina.
She is passionate about education and accounting, and has been working with Saskatchewan school divisions and other educational organizations since 2004 as an employee and/or a contractor.
Having previously lived in Weyburn, Georgia is looking forward to reacquainting herself and serving the community through Holy Family.
“I have enjoyed my time as a team member with Holy Family and now look forward to continuing to work with the board, administration and the schools,” she said.
