The Happy Nun Café is a restaurant and live music venue located in the small village of Forget.
Their main goal is to try and use local ingredients for all of their meals, thereforesupporting the community and the province.
One of the main dynamics of the Café is the entertainment venue portion, not to mention they also host weddings and corporate meals along with special occasions. Even when COVID-19 hit and they were forced to close their doors, they still offered deliveries to the surrounding communities.People would place their orders in advance and The Happy Nun would deliver right to those people’s doors.
The restaurant,of course,is open to the public and the owners still plan on providing the unique experience that their establishment has to offer, just with COVID-19 regulations in place. One of their main events that they have coming up in October is The Rocky Horror Picture Show extravaganza, which is a special interactive screening of The Rocky Horror Picture show and a Rocky themed meal.
Tickets for this event are $60 each for multiples of 6 or $75 each for alternate size groupings and must be purchased in advance.
