Congratulations to the GFK Cross Country Team who competed at the Provincial Meet in Turtleford on the weekend. In races of up to 140 athletes, Taylor Sharp finished 65th in the midget girls鈥� category, Jonah Dyck 61st and Nathan Simons finished 31st in the midget boys鈥� category, and Ethan Dyck finished 69th, Brayden Hill finished 50th, and Tucker Sharp finished 12th in the junior boys鈥� category. They all conquered 鈥淗eart Attack Hill鈥� and made their school proud. Also, congratulations to the junior cross country runners who competed at Districts in Rocanville last week. In the grade 7 girls鈥� category, Kerri Lachapelle finished 7th and Kadence Desrosiers finished 3rd. In the grade 7 boys鈥� category, Mitch Himmelspach finished 3rd. Way to go cross country runners! Join Alice, the White Rabbit and a host of others in a musical wonderland this Friday, October 20th at 7pm when the Missoula Children's Theatre and more than 50 local students from Carlyle Elementary School and Gordon F Kells High School present an original musical adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, ALICE IN WONDERLAND.聽 ALICE IN WONDERLAND will be presented at the Carlyle Elementary School Gym. Tickets are available at the door. Fitness Club is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, every week from 7:45 鈥� 8:30AM. All fitness levels are welcome. Come out and get your day started with some fitness. Junior Boys鈥� Volleyball is well underway at GFK. The boys are playing 10 exhibition games throughout September, October, and November to get ready for district playoffs on Nov. 9th.
