GFK teachers are currently offering on-line learning experiences to all students via technology (school student emails and Microsoft Teams). There are daily lessons and videos being posted on school Teams accounts. Likewise, class meetings are happening online daily with different groups of students. For example, the grade 12鈥檚 are continuing Hamlet, using teacher recorded readings/lessons, and the grade 10鈥檚 are continuing to write novel essays and do presentations, using video conferencing. Need to contact a teacher?聽 The email system is the best way to go. All staff members are looking forward to things going back to normal, as soon as it is safe.聽

Correspondence received by the Board from the Saskatchewan Physical Education Association expressed appreciation for the following schools that will be receiving a Quality Daily Physical Education award plaque for their participation in the QDPE program this school year: McNaughton High School, Gordon F. Kells High School, Assiniboia Park Elementary School, MacLeod Elementary School and Gladmar Regional School. 鈥淭hese schools have joined a select number of schools from Saskatchewan and nationally who made a commitment to provide a high quality physical education program for their students. They have completed an intense online application in order to exemplify and qualify for this award.鈥� The Board congratulates the five schools on their achievement.
