We currently have 2 parents on our School Community Council.聽 We would like to have more parents on the council, so if you can spare one hour a month to support your school鈥檚 work on its school plan, it would be greatly appreciated.聽 The next meeting will include a review of this reporting period and the SCC will provide recommendations on how we will move forward from here.聽 In this reporting period we鈥檝e sent report cards home to grade 7 鈥� 9 parents but we will not be sending report cards out to 10 鈥� 12 parents because they can access student results and attendance on-line at any time.聽 If you would like a printed copy, please phone the school and we鈥檒l mail a report card out to you.聽 Fitness Club is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, every week from 7:45 鈥� 8:30AM. All fitness levels are welcome. Come out and get your day started with some fitness. If there are any interested community members who would like to get involved in basketball in the new year, please contact the school. GFK High School is looking for volunteers for this year鈥檚 3A Girls鈥� Provincial聽Volleyball Championships to be held November 17th and 18th. If interested, please contact Trent W. Johnson at GFK School. Karli Colpitts, a grade 12 student, is interested in tutoring students in math or science.聽 Please contact the school to reach her. There is no school on Friday, November 10 (Teacher Professional Development Day). There is also no school on Monday, November 13 (for Remembrance Day). Have you forgotten your HomeLogic password?
