Please know that your efforts don’t go unnoticed and GFK really appreciates it. Halloween Week at GFK will kick off on Wednesday, October 25th and run until the 31st. Every day at noon there will be activities in the main entrance. Wednesday is pumpkin decorating and hat day, Thursday is bobbing for babies and “Fake an Injury” day, and Friday is cookie decorating. Monday the 30th there will be Bean Boozeled and lastly on the 31st will be costume judging. Prizes will be given to all who participate. Happy Halloween! Speaking of Halloween, the grade 12 class is currently going door to door selling “Spook Insurance” as a fundraiser. Junior Volleyball playoffs are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 9th. We have 3 junior girls’ teams and 1 junior boys’ team traveling all across the division that day to take part in playoffs. Good luck to all teams. Also GFK will be hosting 1 of the junior girls’ playoffs on Nov. 9th starting @ 9:30. Come out and support Cougar volleyball. Fitness Club is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, every week from 7:45 – 8:30AM. All fitness levels are welcome. Come out and get your day started with some fitness. Junior Boys’ Volleyball is well underway at GFK. The boys are playing 10 exhibition games throughout September, October, and November to get ready for district playoffs on Nov. 9th. Good luck this season junior boys. If there are any interested community members who would like to get involved basketball in the new year, please contact the school. GFK School is looking for volunteers for this year’s 3A Girls’ Provincial Volleyball Championships to be held November 17th and 18th. If interested, please contact Trent W. Johnson at GFK School. Karli Colpitts, a grade 12, is interested in tutoring students in math or science.  Please contact the school to reach her. Have you forgotten your HomeLogic password?
