The Student Leadership Team's Mission Impossible Silly String Attack Force continues to make sneak attacks on staff and students every Monday morning. Be on the lookout!

The next School Community Council meeting is Jan. 9 at 7:00 PM.

A Volleyball Clinic hosted by the Brandon University Women's Volleyball team will be held on Dec. 8 and 9. More information can be found on the athletics' page on our school's blog. You can also contact Mr. Birch.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped out this past weekend at the 2A SHSAA Provincial Volleyball Championships held in Arcola and Carlyle. This includes all the staff as well as all the Minor Officials from both Girls' Volleyball Teams. You did an unbelievable job and were praised by all the visitors who came into our school. Thanks also to all the fans that came to watch.

Drama season is fast approaching. Both the junior and senior drama clubs will be starting practices before the winter break.

A staff group has been started on movember.com for anyone who is interested in making a donation to help support prostate cancer research.

The Grade 12 ELA Class is excited about the upcoming trip to the Globe Theatre in Regina on Tuesday, Dec. 11. They all have front row seats to see "The Wizard of Oz" performed live in The Globe's unique "theatre in the round" venue. A huge thank you goes out to the Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Connection for their support in making this possible.

The Search Institute has identified the building blocks of healthy development that help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. The Cougar Corner will list 2 of these 40 Developmental Assets each week for the next 20 weeks. One of these assets is a "Personal Power." This means that young people feel they have control over what happens to them. Another asset is "Self Esteem." Self-esteem is an essential ingredient for a young person's success.
