Cross Country
Congratulations to Jory Dyck who competed at the Provincial Cross Country Meet at Madge Lake on the weekend. He was a great representative for our school and the Â鶹ÊÓƵeast District.
Also, congratulations to the Cross Country Runners who competed at the District Meet in Weyburn last week. Despite the cold and windy conditions, and races which had between 30 and 60 competitors, all of our athletes had great races. In the grade 7 girls' category, Alexis Lachapelle finished 20th, and in the grade 8 boys' category, Tyler Johnson finished 23, Judah Wardrope finished 17th, and Tucker Sharpe finished 9th. Way to go GFK!
The Sr. Boys Volleyball team will be hosting a 1 day tournament on November 1st. Please come out and watch.
Rookie boys' and junior boys' volleyball continue practising Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:20. Senior boys' volleyball continue practising Tuesday evenings from 7-9 and Thursday mornings at 7:30.
There is no school on Monday, October 13th (Thanksgiving Holiday).
There is an SCC Meeting on Wednesday, October 15th, at 7:00pm. All parents welcome.
