On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Carlyle Cornerstone Family and Youth Centre (CFY) hosted The Saskatchewan Reptile Show.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Honoured reptile guests included: The 鈥渞ed tagu鈥 lizard native to Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay; The 鈥渂lue tongued skink鈥 which is found in Australia; The 鈥渓eopard gecko鈥 found in the highlands of Asia, throughout Afghanistan and northern India; The 鈥渂all python鈥 is home to West and Central Africa; The 鈥渃orn snake鈥 makes it home in 麻豆视频eastern and Central USA and The 鈥減ainted turtle鈥 which can be found in North America from 麻豆视频ern Canada to Mexico.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The special presentation was held during the regular Parent and Child Playdate that CFY co-ordinates at the 麻豆视频east Regional Library in Carlyle.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 There were 30 intrigued kids in attendance and surprisingly, only a couple of them were adverse to the reptiles.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 They were allowed to handle the animals under the supervision of Wrangler Chris, who was the presenter of the reptiles and made the journey to Carlyle from Colonsay, where the animals reside and are provided shelter.聽
