The Manor school staff and students are hosting a benefit supper and auction this year in support of Shawna Englot, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. The benefit aims to raise money to help with costs incurred during her treatments.

Shawna Englot was diagnosed with liver cancer on Oct. 7 of this year. She is currently undertaking chemo every other week. Shawna has three children enrolled at Manor school in grades 2, 8, and 11. To help support her during this difficult time, the Manor school staff came up with the idea for a benefit fundraiser and the staff, students, and parents have graciously offered their assistance.

The event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Manor school. The cost to attend is $10:00 for adults, and $5.00 for children 12 and under. RSVPs are required by Thursday, Nov. 10 to the school, 448-2110, or by email, [email protected].
