Another extreme cold warning has been issued.

Update:

The extreme cold warning for southeast Saskatchewan has been lifted.

Environment Canada issued the advisory at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, saying that extreme cold wind chill values between -40 and -50 C were expected.

The southeast received frigid temperatures over the two days.

Temperatures have been warming up Friday, allowing Environment Canada to lift the warning just after 11:30 a.m. But the temperatures are still expected to be below normal for most of the next few days.
