Have you ever wanted to get in touch with your inner artist?

Take the opportunity this weekend at Moose Mountain Provincial Park’s Cabin Fever Art Festival.

The park is already home to the Artist’s Colony, a small group of cabins where artist come each summer to share their work with park visitors. But on July 24, a wide range of arts activities will be happening throughout the entire park as part of the Cabin Fever Art Festival.

According to Saskatchewan Parks, the Cabin Fever Art Festival will feature “bronze sculpting, beading and leather working demonstrations; acrylic painting lessons; ink drawing and dancing activities; improvisation and acting games; song writing workshops; guided crafts; and special live performances throughout the day.”

Events and vendors will be set up on the main beach and on the Chalet/Visitors’ Centre grounds.

The Cabin Fever Art Festival begins at 11 a.m. Visitors are asked to pre-register for the event through the Saskatchewan Parks website. Admission to the festival is free with valid park entry.
