ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service has been busy the past couple of days with a variety of calls.

As a result of a mischief investigation, a 43-year-old man from Estevan was arrested and charged on Friday after damaging a window at a residence. He also had outstanding warrants from another agency.  He was released with court dates in December to speak to the charges.

Police received a report of vehicles speeding on a residential street in the Pleasantdale area. Members monitored the area and did not locate any such offences.

Members were called to a report of a missing youth. The child was later located at another residence and the matter was resolved.

Police attended to an intrusion alarm at a business in east Estevan. Members located an employee who had just closed up for the night and mistakenly entered an incorrect code when setting the alarm.

Police are investigating two incidents from Thursday in which people passed a stopped school bus with its stop arm and lights activated. In both cases, the drivers were identified. The public is reminded to stop if you are following or approaching a school bus with its lights and stop arm activated. Failure to do so will result in a fine of $360.

Officers received a report of harassing communications. The victim has been interviewed and the matter remains under investigation.

Members are investigating a file of uttering threats and harassing communications. This matter is under investigation.

Police attended to a false alarm at a business in east Estevan. The building was found to be secure and the owner was updated.

The EPS conducted a number of walk-throughs at the concert at Affinity Place on Thursday night. They did not handle any incidents.
