ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service has arrested and charged a 21-year-old Carnduff man for theft of a motor vehicle.
According to the EPS report for Jan. 20, the Carnduff RCMP alerted the EPS of the theft, which occurred in Oxbow. EPS members located the vehicle in Estevan about an hour later. The suspect was arrested without incident.
The accused was also wanted on outstanding warrants for driving while suspended and failing to attend court on other matters. He has been remanded into custody for court Monday.
The EPS says the vehicle appears to be in good condition and has no visible damage. The owners have been contacted.
The Carnduff RCMP and EPS continue to investigate the theft.
