Estevan man arrested for assault

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service responded to a complaint of an assault coming from the Pleasantdale area on Aug. 27. 

As a result, a 37-year-old Estevan man was charged. He was arrested and released on conditions of no contact with the victim. He will appear in Estevan Provincial Court in October to answer to the charges. 

The same day, police arrested a 31-year-old man on outstanding warrants from the Moose Jaw Police Service. He was released for court in October in Moose Jaw. 

The EPS received a complaint of a missing 31- year-old man from Lloydminster, who was working in the Estevan area during the day. The man was located in the early morning hours of Aug. 28 and was fine.
